I too was once one of them in late 2006 after being medically retired from the U.S. Army and being released from Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C.

Though I have always had a “Do Not Accept Defeat” attitude And have very rough skin, I can tell you that it beats you down especially when you are just put out on the streets with no chance of being able to prepare for it.

I can say that the majority of the Homeless and Disabled Veterans want to get back on their feet and become apart of society again if given that chance.

My Goal for Louisiana Affordable Properties LLC, is to find a way with God’s help and the partnering Parishes and cities to bring my ever growing list of properties back to commerce and 1 by one bring down the number of our war fighters that are homeless by providing both long term rentals and also Permanent housing through grants, special programs, Cajun Finance, State Programs, Help from our elected officials and our Community.

Together we will take care of our war fighters like they took care of us when we needed them the most.
